Lyrically, perhaps, it’s more like a #tubtune than a #showeranthem. Reflective, simple. But Diamond Rings always brings The Anthem. His sound requires a fist pump and a cleansing. It makes you want to wake up and be you and dance around being you, no? To start fresher, become cleaner, newer, you-er. Yup, #showeranthem.
The singer Diamond Rings, a 2-D green screen, basketball gear, pastel eyeshadow and a yearbook photo shoot. #ShowerAnthem! Sure, he’s a unique one, but boy do we fancy him. This video is all awkward posing and great joy—the best start to any day—and it makes us so very happy every time. Sometimes we even smile, despite the danger of shampoo suds in the mouth. He’s really worth it. (As is the song, highly recommended.)
