We actually have no idea what or who this is. Anyone? Enjoyin’ the pink soap, though. Love a colorful soap.
This one’s gonna be stuck in your head all day long and we ain’t even sorry. It’s good for you.
From NME’s 100 Best Tracks of the 80s, we discovered this week’s #showeranthem. Make that “rediscovered,” because this one was a big part of lives back when hair couldn’t get fluffy enough, leggings were considered daytime appropriate, and orange lipstick looked natural. (We admit to being a bit limited in our scope here.)
So nothing’s really changed, yes? At least not the important things. Hurray! We still can’t get enough of Starship’s “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now”—on our fourth play of the day—and the movie Mannequin continues to make our heart sing.
Admit it. Your mornings just got a lot more neon (keeping in mind that neon = better). LONG LIVE ORANGE LIPSTICK.

The singer Diamond Rings, a 2-D green screen, basketball gear, pastel eyeshadow and a yearbook photo shoot. #ShowerAnthem! Sure, he’s a unique one, but boy do we fancy him. This video is all awkward posing and great joy—the best start to any day—and it makes us so very happy every time. Sometimes we even smile, despite the danger of shampoo suds in the mouth. He’s really worth it. (As is the song, highly recommended.)
Cry, this week’s you-done-me-wrong #tubtune. The smooth kind. The soft rock kind. Old school, dreamy 80s—except this one’s from Gayngs’s 2010 album Relayted.
It’s a little cheesy. A little bedroom. So light some Relax Evening Candles, let the steam and suds ease your pain, and maybe have a good cry. Ain’t nothing to be ashamed of.
